DACA Decision Immigration Appointments

The Undergraduate and Graduate Legal Aid Offices are offering immigration appointments exclusively for University of Maryland College Park students who have been impacted by the recent DACA supreme court decisions. If your issue does not fall into this category, please return to the immigration page to request an immigration appointment for international students.

DACA immigration consultations are free for UMD graduate students who are currently enrolled at UMDCP. They are 30-minute, one-on-one appointments with a local immigration attorney, and will take place by phone or Zoom. Your identity will be kept confidential by the attorney as well as the Undergraduate and Graduate Legal Aid Offices.

Please complete and submit this form to request an appointment with Legal Aid's immigration attorney for help with your DACA-related immigration issue. Note that there is a high demand for this service and Legal Aid cannot guarantee that every student who requests an appointment will be scheduled. Legal Aid will review all requests and follow up within one week of submission to let students know the status of their request.

DISCLAIMER: The immigration attorney is not an employee of the University of Maryland and provides a service for legal advice and counsel only. Said information and services are limited to the meeting. Every effort will be made to ensure the accuracy of the information given and to clearly explain your options; however, please understand that an appointment does not constitute legal representation.
